What are the licensing options and how much does LabArchives cost?

LabArchives offers two main licensing options:

Individual licensing starting at $230/user/year Academic and $460/user/year Commercial.
Enterprise licensing – comes with dozens of enhanced benefits. Quoted on a case by case basis.

How do I get more storage if I reach my limit?

If you’re using our free plan, you will need to upgrade to a paid plan. If you’re using a paid plan, you can upgrade to another plan or contact us to request additional storage at an additional cost. Remember, you can always link external files from Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive, which don’t count towards your storage quota.

LabArchives Classroom ELN

What is the cost of Lab Builder / LabArchives ELN for Education?

Lab Builder is included as a part of LabArchives. There is no additional cost to use Lab Builder content for instructors or for students. Instructors do not have to pay anything to use LabArchives in their course and they receive, complimentary, the Professional Edition of Lab Archives as well.

How does payment work if LabArchives is being paid for by students?

Once students have been enrolled in the course, the instructor sends access. If students are on financial aid, LabArchives can ensure those students will not have to pay, or pay the amount dictated by the institution. If the institution requires purchase through the bookstore, LabArchives will work directly with the bookstore. If the institution requires payment to be made by the institution or department, LabArchives can invoice accordingly.

Student Paid: Students can pay for LabArchives with a credit card, PayPal, or through their university bookstore.
Institution Paid: LabArchives collects payment from the institution.

My students pay for a lab manual and my department/institution receives a royalty. Can LabArchives accommodate custom publishing activities such as this?

Yes. If an instructor or department charges for their course manual, LabArchives can facilitate collection of payment and remittance of fees to the department or institution. There are no minimum term obligations, proofing costs, or publishing set-up fees. Students realize lower costs and departments / institutions recover expenses as a result of the efficiency and cost structure of LabArchives for this purpose.

Territory Manager, Classroom

The Territory Manager is a higher education course sales representative position. The person is responsible for establishing relationships with key decision makers in higher education institutions in scientific instructions (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Engineering). Focus will be Instructor and department level decision makers. You will be responsible for generating leads and managing the sales process in order to acquire new clients. We have a few new open positions: Boston/NY area, Metro DC area (this person will work from our Fairfax County office) West Coast, specifically Northern California and the Midwest. Some travel is required, approximately 25% which includes clients and conference / trade show

What will you be doing?

As a Territory Manager, you will reach-out to prospective new clients and existing clients. You will build relationships, solve problems, understand on-going needs and continually build the territory base business. You will engage in top-down and bottom-up business growth strategies. You will continually add new individual courses while working with administration to promote department-wide and university-wide licenses. You will add financial, account and contact information into the CRM on a daily basis. You will have weekly/bi-weekly meetings to discuss prospecting, pipeline and projections. You will work closely with the entire company team, which includes sales, marketing, client and technical support and executive management. We are all responsible for our success and work as one team.

Territory Manager, Classroom responsibilities will include:

Cornell University Adopts LabArchives for Management of Laboratory Data

To increase research productivity and scientific training, Cornell subscribes to LabArchives.
